I installed Windows 8 RTM on my laptop, having the issue related to Music app. It is crashing after certain period of time. It is not giving even short time so, i can't report it more to Windows 8 support. Here, needful suggestions require of yours.

If any music app is not responding well then you can solve this issue by re-installing it again.
Actually problem come due to some reason like malware. The media that you play with player
then they may effected by any corrupt media. So due to that they start to showing problem.
But this types of problem can be solved easily by uninstalling and then re-installing again. So
just go for it your problem will be solved. And you say you are trying to report it to Windows
support, so there is no need to do this. And also you will get same solution from there. Because
there is any other way to rectify this types of problem. So just go for it, your problem will be
solved for forever.
**Any program crash every time due to following reason**
There is any thread in your program or many time in any file like video file or any other media
that is added to playlist attach regularly on the app or on your Music app. Many time it also
crash due to nonsupporting platform. So due to this app is crashed.
**For solving this types of problem go for two steps**
Step:-1 First of all make your system virus free by using
any good antivirus.
Step:-2 Remove all the media added to your playlist
Step:-3 Go for updating your app
Step:-4 And finally Restart your system
i think you have firstly uninstall your music apps then you have to remove the music device from the control panel of your laptop/computer.
Then you have to again install the same apps of music.
I think that your problem is thus solved.

I would suggest you to upgrade your Sound Driver to the latest version.
It might be so that the requirements of the Music App are not being fulfilled by your system.
Try to upgrade to the latest version and then try running it again.

POSSIBLE CAUSESOLUTIONS
1. Check your audio drivers whether it working or not
2. Audio file may be corrupted
3. Anti Virus is blocking Music app
1. Install latest Audio Drivers and restart your system
2. Try to download codec for Music app and play again
3. Uninstall Music app and Re-Install it again and disable your antivirus at the time of Installation
